Street Closures

The following streets will be closed or impacted for the Marathon on Sunday, November 3, 2013 Runners should use Magic Mountain exit and be at the start line well before 7:00 AM for the start of the race.  The start line is cleaned up and chip pads are removed at minutes after the start of the race. The Marathon Half and 5K start promptly at 7:00 AM and the Mayor’s walk starts at 7:05 am.

 

TRAIL CLOSURES

Most of the Marathon will be on the City bike trails.  Please adjust your trail usage till after the conclusion of the Marathon.  See maps for exact times and locations.

McBean from Magic Mountain to Valencia Blvd.

Closed from 5:00 AM till 7:15 AM

West bound Valencia Blvd will be detoured to Citrus Ave to Magic Mountain.

Detoured from 6:00 AM till 7:15 AM

Magic Mountain at Tourney

Closed from 7:00 AM till 7:45 AM

Industrial Center: Avenue Scott, Avenue Stanford, Avenue Rockefeller, Anza Drive and Avenue Hopkins

Delays from 7:00 AM till 8:30 AM

Newhall Ranch Road at Ave. Tibbitts and McBean

Closed from 7:00 AM till 9:30 AM

Copper Hill Drive at McBean: One Eastbound lane

Closed from 7:00 AM till 9:30 AM

Westfield Valencia Town Center

Cinema Parking Structure and Auto Center Drive Entrance Closed from 7:00 AM till 2:00 PM
